SECRETS AND DREAMS - Maria (Majandra Delfino) is terrified by Isabel's (Katherine Heigl) strange powers, until a grueling interrogation by Sheriff Valenti (William Sadler) leads Maria to a sudden understanding of the aliens' vulnerability. Max (Jason Behr) meets a mysterious true believer (guest star Steve Hytner, "Seinfeld") and takes a job that may help him discover the secrets of his past, while Liz (Shiri Appleby) tries to keep Maria from cracking under pressure and revealing what she knows.
